How payment works

Two approaches are planned for paid game features: one fixed monthly payment or flexible payment for individual features in Faction Notes (FN). Your choice depends on what you use and how far your colony has grown.

Fixed payment or FN

Choose a full set of features or pay for selected ones.

A fixed monthly payment gives access to all mechanics, production capacity and services included in that plan.

Alternatively, you can enable features as needed and pay for them in FN. Paid features you do not use can be disabled. The monthly amount can therefore vary between players and change over time.

02 / 06

A free standard start

Founding a colony under standard conditions costs nothing.

Read details

The initial stage requires no payment: a player founds a colony under standard conditions and begins to develop it.

As it grows, additional mechanics can be enabled for FN. At a certain colony scale and production complexity, some server features will also require a monthly payment.

03 / 06

Growth and automation

Costs depend on the features selected and the scale of your operations.

Read details

Additional production capacity, automation and tools for organizing processes may be paid for separately in FN. You choose which capabilities you need at a given time.

The cost of active features and the total monthly amount should be shown before activation. If a feature is disabled, future charges for it stop according to that service’s terms.

04 / 06

An auction colony

An established colony may be bought with FN.

Read details

An alternative start is buying a colony at auction. Auctions use FN. An acquired colony may already have production and infrastructure large enough to require a monthly payment.

Every lot description will state the required FN per month, so buyers can see ongoing costs before bidding.

05 / 06

Why costs follow server load

The game world keeps running while its owner is offline.

Read details

Colonies, production, fleets and other assets continue to exist and carry out tasks while a player is offline. Their simulation continually uses server processing time.

Larger colonies and more complex processes need more computing resources. A large persistent world requires more powerful servers and funding to operate them.

06 / 06

Choosing the better option

Flexible payment may suit a smaller operation; a full set may favor a fixed plan.

Read details

A small colony and a modest fleet without months of queued flight assignments need fewer server resources. With some services and mechanics disabled, a developed colony may cost less than €10 per month in certain configurations.

If you enable everything at once, a fixed monthly account payment may be better value. Payments on this website are currently disabled; exact prices, thresholds and terms will be shown before launch.
