A proposed classification of intelligent life's development

Given all the planning, foundation texts, and calculations I've been working on, I'd like your opinion. What do you think of this way of dividing the levels of development of intelligent life?

Class 0.

No identified members of animal or plant life capable of passing on knowledge and experience.

Class 1.

Passing on experience and skills through a primitive system of communication. No civilization.

Class 2.

Intensive use of objects, with a complex communication system and social structures. Analogous to the Stone Age.

Class 3.

A civilization before the discovery of fundamental scientific principles. From the Bronze Age up to the 19th century.

Class 4.

A civilization discovering fundamental principles.

Class 5.

A civilization that has reached space.
