Rules for our political role-play

Rules for our political role-play. We'll create a separate group called Exodus Game RPG. Anyone may read and join it. Only players and the Game Master may post. I'll be the Game Master, whether I use the Exodus account or my own; that doesn't matter.

A player representing a country, bloc of countries, or political or religious organization should post in the group only during open debates and public negotiations, or to make statements and public appeals to other countries and the press. Send internal actions and private negotiations TO ME IN A PRIVATE MESSAGE. I'll process them or forward them to their recipient. Write everything in character. Nothing elaborate is required, but stay in character. Send all questions and discussions about the mechanics to me privately.

Given current tense political relations and my love of a good, truthful simulation, I allow any degree of rudeness and venom in posts WITHIN THE GAME. Outside it, remember: you're arguing with a ROLE, not a PLAYER. Respect one another and don't take the negativity personally! ;) I will come down hard on quarrels outside the game!

Spectators may not post or comment in this group, but you're welcome to discuss it and make a fuss in the main group. :)

I ask registered players to indicate that they've read this information. Everything is ready for the first session; all the introductory material has been written. What we lack is players. There are actually more player slots available. If all the main factions are taken, I can assign various secondary countries, international organizations, and large private businesses that can influence decisions.
